1. Quotations and availability
A request is not a confirmed reservation until BurundiRide has confirmed the vehicle, schedule, price and applicable terms in writing. Vehicle availability may change before confirmation. When necessary, a comparable replacement may be proposed.
2. Prices and payment
Quotations are based on the information supplied by the customer, including dates, hours, route, passengers, luggage and vehicle category. Additional waiting time, route changes, extra kilometres, overtime, parking, tolls, fuel or driver accommodation may be charged when they were not included in the confirmed quotation.
3. Self-drive requirements
Self-drive customers must provide valid identification and an acceptable driving licence. Additional drivers, cross-border travel and travel outside the declared route require prior written approval. A security deposit may be required according to the vehicle and rental.
4. Vehicle handover and return
The customer and BurundiRide representative may inspect the vehicle at handover and return. The vehicle must be returned at the agreed place and time, with the agreed fuel level and in the condition required by the rental agreement, allowing for reasonable use.
5. Driver service
Chauffeured rental is provided according to the confirmed operating hours and route. Customers must not ask a driver to operate unsafely, violate the law, carry undeclared passengers or goods, or travel on an unapproved route.
6. Insurance, damage and prohibited use
Insurance scope, customer responsibility and any excess are stated in the final agreement. Reckless driving, intoxicated driving, racing, unauthorised commercial use, unlawful activity and use by an unapproved driver are prohibited and may invalidate protection.
7. Changes and cancellations
Change and cancellation conditions are shown in the confirmed quotation. Costs already committed to drivers, suppliers or vehicle preparation may be non-refundable. Customers should report changes as soon as possible.
